i have always been reluctant to share my further study plan.
because i dont want people to judge me.
i dont like people to influence me in my decision making.
but, im always happy if i told people my plan.
and they support and encourage me.
especially my poly friends,
most of them dunno what i wanna do, where i wanna go.
cos i will just remain silent and smile whenever they asked. :)
except for est.
she knows and she supports.
cos she's a malaysian i guess, thats why i think she'll care less. haha.
but just now,
i was surprised. a chinese poly friend.
an egoistic, realistic and high expectation in life guy.
a typical contemporary minded singaporean.
and i had a conversation with him.
he: which uni u apply?
me: ntu
he: 1 uni only?
me: hmm. yes. *in my heart: he definitely thinks that my gpa is super bad lah*
he: ntu only?
(since i dun wanna create a bad impression of myself especially that we are graduating. i have to clear this with him. so i decided to tell him my plan)
me: yeah. actually, i tell u something ok. but promise me, u must not be judgemental.
he: alrights..
me: i want to go to msia uni. i wanna apply for an arabic language degree. thats why, im half-hearted when applying any local uni.
he: ohh ok. if you know what you want, and thats what you want, go with your heart man..
*wow, unexpected respond by him*
he: but whats the career prospect?
me: i wanna go dubai. hahaha. i wana work under banking and finance industry - more of islamic banking. what do you think?
he: whoa... thats a neat plan and a realistic one. =) you should go for it! but do take note of the finances and stuff yeah.

for once, im more motivated to apply for my UIA.
im more motivated to start restudying my arabic.
and im less guilty, for being lazy and not wanting to apply SMU. =D
or maybe i still should? counting the days to 8april, the closing date.
i know i myeself, am being judgemental when i think people are being judgemental
but who's not, the fact is most people ARE judgemental
so we must always try our best to potray good image and impression
especially to those who dunno us well.. right? :)
